Let's Keep It Real.... Plus It's Fun

" 11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: 12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. 13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee." - Genesis 12:11-13 KJV

You know, sometimes people can be wrong. Sometimes people don't know their true history. You know, how things really went down and only know the parts that they were told. Again and again. Now, if I recognize that, I'm the kinda person that I'm not going to judge you for what I know you don't know. I'm going to pray for you...

I might have to bite my tongue till it bleeds. Maybe even run away from touching the topics where I know you are dead wrong like that girl up there from The Secret Garden (Love that scene)! Why avoid? For the mere fear of possibly getting infected by the wrongness, but inside I'm doing this:

I would like to imagine that Sarai, the wife of Abram, at the very least recognized that this encouragement to sorta lie (To in this case actually innocent Egyptians... Think about it) about their relationship status was wrong to do. But she didn't actually DO anything. Now this was the "Father Of Faith" folks! I take good notes from stuff like this respectfully giving honor where honor is due. But obviously God wants us to be able to recognize humans can be dead wrong even when God likes them a WHOLE LOT! I mean Abram was super blessed, but both Abram and Sarai had some #Issues. Lot wasn't the only one! #IKeepItReal Let us review and break it down because we were not given the Word Of God as a #Sword for no reason.... Plus I really wanted to use this cool gif! ^_^ #WhereThereIsAWillThereIsAWay

"17 And the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife. 18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? 19 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. 20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had." - Genesis 12:17-20 KJV

Now here, we see God having to move around His own chosen people to get through to this poor Pharaoh who had been lied to.... by the Father of Faith..... What?!?! I know some are probably like:

Don't change the fact that this is #BibleTruth. Because everybody likes to dump on how messed up Lot and his family was, and just completely forget that these family issues didn't just spring up out of nowhere! (Thanks Dad Adam for introducing the whole human family line to #Sin!)

Because Abram and Sarai didn't do this just once, but twice. You heard me, twice. Yeah some time obviously went by between the two times they did this (Because we have to fast forward to the 20th Chapter of Genesis to see this repeat episode of #Wrongness), but apparently not enough time for them to have learned that it was wrong the first time. It's right here:

"1And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife." - Genesis 20:1-3 KJV

Now what I love about this one, is that God came to visit poor Abimelech, King of Gerar in a dream directly. And King Abimelech gets to carry on a decent conversation with God because he had some righteous legs to stand on. Even though he, technically, was "unrighteous". Apparently he was righteous enough for God to give him a heads up of #SometimesOff Abraham and Sarah(spelling difference, same people...clearly) instead of just taking him and the whole nation out without warning. It would have spelled #EndGame for Abimelech and his people. My favorite part is 'Behold, thou art but a dead man' #bwahaha This is my God, His name is Jesus! #NameAboveAllNames ^_^

God was basically TRYING to help Abimelech do this:
And King Abimelech, realized this and that he needed to proceed, in this dream, carefully. #Inception. I mean he gets to have some really great verses. Look:

"But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine. Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid." - Genesis 20:4-8 KJV

#Haha See, King Abimelech, whatever gods he used to worship before, in that moment knew he was dealing with the REAL GOD and His REAL PEOPLE. But there was something CLEARLY Wrong. Which King Abimelech cited in this private dream #MeetUp, along with citing his own integrity and pure innocents (before #Acts238 time I might add, so what can happen now..... let that sink in.... Do you see why my focus is different.... ). King Abimelech's head was kinda exploding with this overwhelming God is really REAL dream situation, but he handled it amazingly well. #IReadMyBibleForRealLife Basically Abimelech was like, hold up, God, I know You are real and right, but this Abraham cat, said she was his sister, and this Sarah, she herself said, he is my brother, sooooo this is confusing....

King Abimelech seems like he would be fun in a less stress filled situation. #LOL See, no one knows the mind of God. It's parts like where scripture reads that God stated "...for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her." What does that mean? In my humble opinion, that could mean a few things. The first that comes to mind is that God would allow something to happen multiple times to prevent King Abimelech from seriously messing up with married #IssueHaving Sarah until God could get through to him and have this dream #MeetUp... Because Abimelech had #Integrity and was #Innocent, on all the levels that mattered in his 'unrighteous' Old Testament state. #Mindblown

See this is why I don't play with God, and am very careful with people's hearts and heads. #NoPunIntended #IKeepTrackOfWhatIHaveToGiveAnAccountFor #JesusAlreadyKnowsMe God does not have to tell you everything, but it's kinda cool when He chooses to share! If you can stay alive that is... O_O

So when King Abimelech calls Abraham on the carpet, rightly so I might add, this is what he says:

"9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. 10 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?" - Genesis 20:9-10 KJV

Great points Abimelech! Even though we know now, that you were really scared.

It's at this interaction we get to find out that #IssueHaving Abraham and Sarah made a pack at the start....

#YouReadThatRight Finally we have Abraham telling us the truth of the matter right here:

"11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake. 12 And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife. 13 And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother." - Genesis 20:11-13 KJV

And people wonder why I stay in Jesus, stay single, and remind people I don't have to do jack when Jesus doesn't require it of me today! Because of stuff like this that takes forever to come out, and I don't have time for that mess!

Abraham is the Father Of Faith.... I rest my case. And even in all of this, do you know what? Abimelech still gave Abraham stuff and had to get Abraham to pray to God for him and his people, why? Because of this:

"16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved. 17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children. 18 For the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife." - Genesis 20:16-18 KJV

God closed up all the wombs because of Married Sarah over here, so what would cause God to open up all the wombs.... Think about it... We don't know all the spiritual laws that govern what we can and can't see, God does though. His name is Jesus. Satan only knows a few of the rules, but he can't remember the most important ones because he is locked out of the purity of the spiritual truth that is Jesus.... forever.

The way to learn more about the spiritual truth of Jesus, is to get into the Acts 2:38 KJV truth, and be willing to let go of self for the actual will of Jesus concerning YOUR life. Learn from other's mistakes and keep your own mistakes to an absolute #Minimum. Your life is not my life, and my life is not your life (Be thankful, you probably couldn't handle my life in #RealTime or in all #Dimensions. #heh). #POTSWarrior4Jesus #LOL Until next #BibleStudy:
