Great And Mighty Things Which Thou Knowest Not... Part 2

Now that a bit of positive has been covered, let's take a look at the negative side that would be really comforting to ignore and act like it isn't in the bible..... One of the reasons I'm careful to remain sensitive to the will of Jesus for MY Apostolic life (I can't talk about yours) is because of lessons we can learn from the likes of Paul. Let's look:

“12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.” - Acts 23:13-13 KJV

Hold up, what? And the word “conspiracy” is in the bible? And why are they banding together under a curse... This is after Acts 2:38 KJV right? *double checks* Yup! Soooo what's going on?

This is some of the negative side, still truth, just uncomfortable truth. Move a few verses forward and we get this:

“16 And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul. “ Acts 23:16 KJV

The quintessential your so-and-so-and-so relative heard it, but in this case Paul knew this Nephew well and thankfully totally-legit moved instep with Jesus perceptively. Because the next verse reads:

“17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him. “ - Acts 23:17 KJV

Good going Paul for being spiritually sensitive to Jesus in this most important IMPENDING DOOM situation. So that the Nephew could give this warning to the Chief:

“20 And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.” - Acts 23:20-21

Now remember that these were Paul's own Jewish “bros” POST Acts 2:38 KJV..... Thank the good Lord that Paul was sensitive to Jesus, because he could have chosen to ignore the Nephew. Maybe we would have never even known Paul existed, who knows? Especially after this apparent curse turned Paul's supposed 40+ bros in the Lord into basically a bunch of Matrix Agent clones spiritually:

Well then, O_O But you know what, if Jesus just straight deals with me no middle-nephew-man involved then:

Because thank you Paul for that lesson on how the negative spiritual side can become evident among your own, I can learn and keep stepping! Because think about it, these brethren “Friends of Paul” weren't really friends to him. And they wouldn't be a friend of mine either. Think of the people who thought these curse takers were good upstanding brethren. Not outside, I'm talking inside the truth! It was the grace of Jesus that this happened thanks to Paul being sensitive to the Holy Ghost leading for real. Even in the face of immanent danger so this could happen:

“22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
23 And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
24 And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
25 And he wrote a letter after this manner:” - Acts 23:22-25 KJV

Paul ended up getting protection not from his curse taking brethren, but people who could reason and had enough fear of God to step up when something was off. Thank you Chief Captain! Sheesh. I take my lessons seriously. Because think of what probably would have happened to Paul's mind spiritually and physically IF he had survived the onslaught.

Remember what happened to Stephen for just telling the truth! O_O These curse taking bros probably even were kind on the surface the last time they saw Paul. So they could be presumed innocent by the masses and then turn around and say how sorry they felt for Paul with fake tears and all.... Something to think about.

Anyway, in this case it's a good thing someone had the bravery to step up for Paul for the RIGHT reasons. Because remember, Jesus checks and knows intent. I bet that Nephew was sweating bullets of legit blood against such spiritual wickedness in the brethren(and who knows, there could have been some sisters in there too). I mean scripture says they weren't going to eat until Paul was DEAD. Who does that?

Takes #groupthink to a whole new level. Because think about it. If they were under some sort of group curse already, who knows the level of supernatural attack they were going launch on Paul on top of whatever physical attack they had planned as a group. This is Post Acts 2:38 KJV! Keep this in mind, I'm telling you fulfilling Acts 2:38 KJV is just the beginning boys and girls! Uuhhhh I mean the bible says right here:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “ - Ephesians 6:12 KJV

This is real. I'm just the one willing to pray and tell you what is going down all around you, and encouraging you to spiritually weapon up with truth in the Apostolic Doctrine because the rapture is coming. Look around you, this is not a test. Soooo bring on the TobyMac. “The kingdom is alive. We're stepping on the gas!”
